Hausdorff 维数

通俗地说，具有参数 N 和 s 的 自相似 对象可以用幂律描述，例如

N=s^d,

其中

d=(lnN)/(lns)

是标度律的“维数”，称为 Hausdorff 维数。

形式上，设 A 是 度量空间 X 的一个 子集。那么 A 的 Hausdorff 维数 D(A) 是 d>=0 的 下确界，使得 A 的 d 维 Hausdorff 测度 为 0（不一定是整数）。

在许多情况下，Hausdorff 维数正确地描述了洛伦兹猜想中具有分形周界的谐振器的校正项。然而，在一般情况下，要使用的合适的维度是 Minkowski-Bouligand 维数 (Schroeder 1991)。
