菱面体是由六个菱形边界构成的平行六面体，其相对面是全等的。

所有六个菱形面都全等的菱面体被称为三角偏方面体。特例包括立方体和两个黄金菱面体。

许多命名的菱面体在Wolfram 语言中被实现为PolyhedronData["Rhombohedron"].
