索菲·热尔曼素数

如果一个素数和都是素数，则称为索菲·热尔曼素数。前几个索菲·热尔曼素数是 2, 3, 5, 11, 23, 29, 41, 53, 83, 89, 113, 131, ... (OEIS A005384)。尚不清楚是否存在无限个索菲·热尔曼素数 (Hoffman 1998, p. 190)。

小于的索菲·热尔曼素数的数量，对于 , 2, ... 分别是 3, 10, 37, 190, 1171, 7746, 56032, ... (OEIS A092816)。

截至 2016 年 2 月 29 日，已知的最大已证明的索菲·热尔曼素数对由给出，其中

(Caldwell)，每个数都有位十进制数字 (PrimeGrid)。

索菲·热尔曼素数的定义以及当时已知的最大此类素数的值在 2005 年电影Proof中由角色 Hal 和 Catherine 提及。
