Coxeter群

由元素P_i (其中 i=1, ..., n) 生成的群，受限于

(P_iP_j)^(M_(ij))=1,

其中 M_(ij) 是 Coxeter 矩阵的元素。Coxeter 使用 符号 [3^(p,q,r)] 表示由 Y 形 Coxeter-Dynkin 图 的节点生成的 Coxeter 群，其三个臂分别有 p、q 和 r 条 图边。这种形式的 Coxeter 群是有限的，当且仅当

1/(p+1)+1/(q+1)+1/(r+1)>1.
