完全二部图 K_(1,3) 是一个被称为“爪”的树。它同构于星图 S_4，有时也被称为 Y 图 (Horton and Bouwer 1991; Biggs 1993, p. 147)。

更一般地，星图 S_n=K_(1,n) 有时也被称为“爪”（Hoffmann 1960；Harary 1994，p. 17）。

爪形图的色数为 2，色多项式为

pi(z)=(z-1)^3z.

它的图谱是 (-sqrt(3))0^2sqrt(3)。

不包含爪作为导出子图的图称为无爪图。
